What is the Mother-Daughter Tea?
The Mother-Daughter Tea is the signature annual fundraising event of Frisco Women's League, and has two components this year:
-
On Saturday, April 9, the Tea (now in its 17th year) takes place... a luncheon for ladies of all ages, with an elaborate theme, delicious treats and sweets, and a fabulous silent auction and raffles for adults and kids. Moms and daughters, sisters, grandmothers, besties, teammates, neighbors, and dear friends enjoy this afternoon out to raise money for local charities.
-
New for 2022: on Friday, April 8, adult guests will get to preview the fabulous decor of the Saturday party, at an evening cocktail reception featuring desserts and drinks. This is a limited-ticket event and will sell out soon!
The whimsical inspiration of Willy Wonka's magical Chocolate Factory will be the backdrop for the 2022 luncheon, as well as the Friday night cocktail preview event. Our famous "Candy Table" experience is a favorite of Tea guests, and is sure to be completely mind-blowing... considering the confectionery delights that are the reputation of the innovative Mr. Wonka.
Funds raised at the Mother-Daughter Tea are distributed to charities impacting Collin and Denton County residents, and FWL is proud that over $400,000 has been raised and distributed for worthy causes and missions in our community.
